"After five gruelling hours, Karpov eventually finished with an impressive score of 23 wins, 2 draws and no losses.
The two lucky survivors were Jim Green and Jose Ramirez."
The word from spectators is that Ken Einarsson provided an assist by putting up maximum resistance in his game.
