The convention in published (in books for example) diagrams is that White is at the bottom unless otherwise stated. But I must say my brain was playing tricks on me when I was saw this problem, as the Black pawns are so far advanced, it does look like Black is moving up the board !

Thanks, I don't know much about chess and was basing my thoughts on the print version which has no coords
