2017 Abe Yanofsky Blitz Championship
August 8, 2017, 7:00pm – 10:30pm
Location: University of Winnipeg – Room 4CM42
Open to all and newcomers welcome!
Registration 6:35 – 6:55
Time Control – 3 minutes + 2 second increment.
Format likely to be 2 Sectioned Round Robins, or 2 Sectioned (Open, approx. U1800) Swisses depending on number of entries.
Current estimate is that there will be approximately 9-10 double rounds (2 game matches) ie. 18-20 games per player.
Entry fee – $10, $5 for 2017 Abe Yanofsky Memorial entrants (CFC membership not required)
Prizes – Entries to 2017 Abe Yanofsky Memorial (transferable)

Please bring a completed registration form (attached) and $120 payable to the Manitoba Chess Association. We request that you pack a peanut-free lunch for your child because some of our students have allergies. We will be providing a pizza lunch on the last day.

With a good mix of talented juniors and relative newcomers this should be a great camp!Camp will run August 8-11th, 9:30-3:30 in Room 3C14 at the University of Winnipeg.
