I think I got this one:
1.a8=B
...Ke8 2. Ke6 kd8 (or Kf8) 3.b8=Q#
...Kf8 2. B8=Q/R Kf7 3.Bd5#
...Kg8 2. Kg6 kh8 (or Kf8) 3. b8=Q/R#
I think 1. a8=N is correct.
If 1... Kf8, then 2. b8=Q++
If 1... Kg8, then 2. Kg6 mates in one
If 1... Ke8, then 2. Ke6 also mates in one due to the knight covering c7
